[Lake Hamana Tourism] Do you know about the rumored photogenic spot “Maisaka View”?

This time, we will be disseminating information about Maisaka-cho, Hamamatsu City, the city next to Kosai City◎

First of all, do you know about “Maisaka View”?

I myself knew the location, but I was only looking at the “Maisaka View” from the Hamana Bypass.

Meanwhile, I found a photo of the scenery from “Maisaka View” posted on Instagram!

I also thought, “I want to capture that scenery on camera!”

I went to take photos of the sunset and sunrise at Maisaka View!

What kind of place is “Maisaka View”? ?

It is said to have a “Maisaka View” and a seawall with a total length of approximately 17.5km facing the Pacific Ocean.

I’m planning to go to the end of the embankment to watch the sunset, but it’s much further away than I expected…

The end of the embankment is quite far, but the scenery along the way is beautiful, and the interactions and greetings with people walking and cycling along the way create a nice atmosphere!

It’s a nice place for couples to enjoy incognito, and it’s also a romantic place.

Rumor has it that she invites friends and enjoys taking pictures! !

Sunset at “Maisaka View”!

First of all, from sunset ◎

I really like taking a leisurely walk at dusk.

As I walked all the way, I saw Arai Benten Sea Fishing Park, where I always go ◎

The scenery is completely different when viewed from the opposite shore.

I watched the sunset until the end and headed home.

The gradation of the sky after sunset and the lights of cars running on Hamana Ohashi Bridge.

I think I was able to take some good photos personally.

“Shizuoka: Japan’s Hidden Green Tea Gem in Central Japan (with a Taste of Matcha Too!)”

You’ve probably heard of Kyoto’s matcha, but did you know that Shizuoka is one of Japan’s top green tea-producing regions?

Shizuoka Prefecture is known in Japan as “Shizuoka Prefecture when it comes to green tea,” and in fact, Shizuoka Prefecture is one of the top green tea producers in Japan, even more so than Kyoto, known as the home of green tea!

There are many varieties (regional brands) of “Shizuoka green tea” produced in Shizuoka Prefecture, such as Motoyama tea in Shizuoka City, Kakegawa tea in Kakegawa City, Kawane tea in Shimada City, and Tenryu tea in Hamamatsu City are well known.

Run through nature! Trail running recommendations

Are you familiar with the term “trail running”?

Trail running is a type of middle-distance running that involves running in mountains and fields other than on paved roads. In Japan, many people are probably familiar with the names “cross country” and “mountain racing.” Unlike mountain biking and other competitions that use vehicles, trail running has the unique appeal of running through nature on your own. Because you run off-road with ups and downs, you can feel more connected to nature and enjoy the changes in the surrounding scenery than you would with regular running. At a time when various leisure activities are being forced to struggle to prevent infection due to the effects of the new coronavirus, trail running is attracting attention as a way to avoid crowds and have fun.

After doing some research, I learned that Hamamatsu’s running club “Smiley Angel”* has been promoting trail running in Hamamatsu in recent years. Although I had no experience with trail running, I decided to attend a Smiley Angel practice session to experience the new charm of the Hamamatsu/Lake Hamana area.
