Hamanako Gourmet Park, located just before the entrance to Hamamatsu Nishi Interchange.
Inside the shop, you’ll find a wide array of local specialties from Hamamatsu.
Hamanako Gourmet Park is mainly a drive-in popular with tour buses, but in 2019, the on-site Hamamatsu Pudding “Priful” was opened to make it more accessible for local visitors as well.
The sweets are supervised by Mr. Hiroshi Tokoro, a renowned dessert producer.
Hamamatsu Pudding, made with carefully selected local ingredients, is a treat not just for the taste buds but also for the eyes.
Then in 2024, a specialty shop for the French baked treat Financier, called Patisserie Financier, opened inside the Hamamatsu Pudding store.
The Hamamatsu Shusse Financier, a gluten-free baked treat made with rice flour, has been attracting attention.
This time, we’re introducing Hamanako Gourmet Park, a place where you can discover the delicious flavors of Hamamatsu!
Located inside Hamanako Gourmet Park, Hamamatsu Pudding “Priful” uses seasonal local ingredients from Hamamatsu and offers handmade sweets crafted one by one in the store.
The store’s classics include “Ultimate Smooth Pudding,” “Flower Pudding,” “Matcha Pudding,” and “Mikkabi Mikan Pudding.”
You can also enjoy seasonal limited-edition puddings made with ingredients that are in season.
For example, from January to early May there’s Strawberry Pudding, during the summer Crown Melon Pudding, and in the winter Chocolate Pudding.
All the fruits are grown by local farmers, and Hamamatsu Pudding emphasizes colorfulness and cuteness, making each pudding look like a “jewel box in a jar.”
These sweets are perfect as a treat for yourself or a gift for someone special. 🍮
Mr. Yukihito Miyachika, president of Hamamatsu Pudding “Priful,” explains, “When we served lunch to school trip students, we found that many had wheat allergies on the pre-submitted allergy list, which made it very difficult to accommodate everyone.”
Seeing students unable to enjoy the same meals as their peers inspired him to create a sweet that could be safely enjoyed by those with wheat allergies, which led to the development of the rice flour financier.
Mr. Miyachika recalls, “Rice flour doesn’t rise like wheat flour, so at first, we faced one failure after another.”
However, after countless trial batches, they achieved a texture and quality comparable to wheat flour, and in 2024, Patisserie Financier opened.
Today, the rice flour financiers, which have become a signature souvenir of Hamanako Gourmet Park, can be purchased individually at Patisserie Financier inside Hamamatsu Pudding.
This time, we’ll introduce the following three flavors:
・Plain
A classic financier made with natural vanilla beans, featuring the rich aroma of butter and almonds.
・Mikkabi Mikan
A refreshing flavor infused with citrus from locally grown Mikkabi mikan oranges.
・Matcha
A financier made with Shizuoka-grown matcha, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.
The traditional French baked treat financier literally means “banker,” “capitalist,” or “wealthy person” in French, making it a perfect fit for Hamamatsu, the city of success and advancement!
The shape of the financier resembles a gold bar, so the packaging is inspired by gold bullion, and each piece is individually wrapped in a gold-colored bag—making it a cheerful and popular souvenir from Hamamatsu.
At Hamamatsu Soft Cream Stand &, located inside Hamanako Gourmet Park, you can enjoy premium soft-serve made with carefully selected ingredients from Hamamatsu.
The soft-serve made with the locally renowned Inasa Milk is known for its rich and creamy flavor.
In addition to the classic Mix Soft, Premium Milk Soft, and Matcha Soft, you can also enjoy these cute and fun soft-serve creations:

・Coffee Soft
