Kiga Sekisho

Kiga Sekisho was a checkpoint along the Hime Kaido route established by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1601. Sections of the sekisho, including the Kabuki-mon and the Hon-bansho, were reconstructed in 1990. Part of the existing Hon-bansho has been designated a cultural asset by the city.

・Train: Get off at Kanasashi Station (Tenryu Hamanako Railway), take an Entetsu Kanasashi Bus to Okuyama (7 minutes), then alight at Jinguji Bus Stop and walk for 5 minutes
・Car: 20 minutes from the Shin-Tomei Expwy Hamamatsu-Inasa IC, 30 minutes from the Tomei Expwy Hamamatsu West IC
