I want to visit Lake Hamana, but how should I get around?!

That’s something many people wonder about.

at YSP Hamamatsu

Let us introduce a new option: motorbikes!

You might have rented a car or a bicycle before, but chances are you haven’t tried a rental motorbike.

Getting a pre-ride briefing from YSP staff

We visited YSP Hamamatsu, a dealer specializing in Yamaha motorcycles.

You can choose your bike model and make your reservation online, so when you visit the store, you mainly just fill out paperwork and receive instructions on how to use the rental motorbike.

You can choose from various rental durations and bike models, making it easy to rent a motorbike just like renting a car.

Riding scene

It takes about two to three hours to drive around Lake Hamana by car.

With the wind in your face as you ride around Lake Hamana, you can stop to take in scenic views or drop by any shop that catches your eye—there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy a full day of exploring.

At Cape Prince

Cape Prince is a scenic spot in Oku-Hamanako, known for its beautiful views.

The roads are too narrow for cars, with no space to park, and you might even worry about slipping into the lake—but on a motorbike, you can cruise through with ease and fully enjoy the scenery.

At Bentenjima Seaside Park

This spot, where the vivid red symbol tower stands out against the blue sky and Lake Hamana, is perfect for snapping a photo with your motorbike.

As you make your way around Lake Hamana, you’ll be surprised by how much the townscapes and local lifestyles change from one area to the next.

The southern side of Lake Hamana offers the refreshing scent of the sea, while the northern area, Oku-Hamanako, is filled with greenery and gentle rivers.

We hope you’ll hop on a motorbike and experience the charm of this place with your own body and senses.

At KUSHITANI CAFE

When traveling around Lake Hamana, you have many options—bus, local trains, boats, rental bicycles, and rental cars.

Why not consider adding rental motorbikes to the list?

It’s nice to stop by when you suddenly spot a shop that catches your eye.

At Orange Road

You might enjoy exploring Lake Hamana on a different motorbike than the one you usually ride.

If you still have a motorbike license but have sold your motorbike, spending a day feeling the wind again around Lake Hamana might be just what you need.

At Cape Prince

If buying a motorbike might earn you some cold looks from your family…

The breeze you feel riding a rental motorbike around Lake Hamana carries a certain warmth and gentleness.

This Time’s Route:
YSP Hamamatsu (Motorbike Rental) → Orange Road → Cape Prince→ Bentenjima Seaside Park → KUSHITANI CAFE → YSP Hamamatsu (Motorbike Return)
