Hamamatsu Festival report

The Hamamatsu Festival was held from May 3 to 5 at Nakatajima Seaside Park in southern Hamamatsu. This year, the afternoon kite flying event celebrated the birth of the children from each district. It was the first festival held before an audience since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spectators were visibly excited during the event.

Hopefully, next year the palace floats can be paraded around at night without the threat of infectious diseases. Make sure to experience the passion of Hamamatsu during the Hamamatsu Festival next year!
