The Hotel Kikusuitei is an onsen ryokan alongside Lake Hamanako’s Kanzanji Hot Springs. Guests can take a pleasure boat cruise on Lake Hamanako and also ride a ropeway. The guest rooms and rotemburo (outdoor bath) on the ryokan’s top floor offer a panoramic view of Lake Hamanako’s scenery as it changes with the seasons. Meals served in the ryokan use seasonal ingredients that are grown locally. Many of the vegetables are produced nearby.
Acrylic barriers have been placed at the check-in counter, and hand sanitation stations are found throughout the premises. Although the breakfast buffet is currently closed, Japanese-style set meals are available.
