Shibukawa Azalea Park

  • Nature
Every mid-May, the Shibukawa azalea flowers are in full bloom. In Shibukawa Azalea Park, located on a mid-sized mountain, the clusters of azalea flowers have been designated a natural treasure of Shizuoka Prefecture. The azalea shrubs grow between five to six meters in height. They also feature brightly colored flowers and leaves in groups of three. When visiting the park, you'll feel like you're on a hiking expedition!
