Shointei Teahouse

Shointei is an authentic teahouse located in a corner of Hamamatsu Castle Park. It was designed by Mr. Yoshio Taniguchi, a world-renowned architect. There is an artificial stream in the main Japanese garden where visitors can listen to the murmur of water among the rocks and cascade. An outdoor seating area is found in a garden that leads to the detached Hagian. Experience a tea ceremony within a serene space arranged with stone washbasins, garden lanterns, and stepping stones. Visitors can also enjoy a tea service while strolling around Hamamatsu Castle Park or along historical walking paths.
