Do you know “Ebisuki fishing”? I have lived in the area for many years, and although I had heard about it, I had no idea what kind of fishing it involved.
Lately, shrimp fishing has been attracting a flood of interviews and inquiries from all over the country, as it is an experience that can only be found at Lake Hamana.
I actually experienced what kind of fishing this shrimp fishing is like!

“What to do with Ieyasu Hamamatsu Taiga Drama Museum” will have its grand opening on March 18, 2023!
On display inside the museum are costumes and tools that appeared in the drama. You can also enjoy the sets used in the shooting and original footage.
The sales floor of the “Shusse Town Ieyasu SHOP” in “Hamamatsu Shusse Park” where the Taiga Drama Museum is located has also been renovated!(These facilities are already closed)

Sea Lake HAMANA Jenne makes a special appearance at the Hamakita Manyo Festival, which is held every fall at Manyo Manyou no Mori Park in Hamakita Ward! The three Jenne, who appeared in aristocratic costumes from the Nara period, captivated the audience.
This time, we will show you how they transform into elegant forms, as well as how they take on the challenge of reciting the main theme of the Hamakita Manyo Festival, “Kyokusui Banquet Utage (En),” and Manyo songs.

Lake Hamana Flower Festival 2023 begins! Enjoy the flower relay around Lake Hamana
With the arrival of warm spring, the Lake Hamana Flower Festival begins! The 2023 event will be held from March 21st to June 11th. The two main venues are Hamamatsu Flower Park and Hamanako Garden Park.
During the Flower Festival, visitors will be welcomed by the seasonal flowers and beautiful gardens that decorate the area around Lake Hamana, Fukuroi City, Morimachi, and Kakegawa City. You can also have fun collecting flower stamps at 25 points of interest.

Go from Shinjohara to Tenryu Futamata! Enjoy a leisurely train journey using the Tenryu Hamanako Railway Free Ticket!
Tenryu Hamanako Railway is a third sector railway that connects Kakegawa Station to Shinjohara Station in Kosai City via Hamamatsu City.
There are a total of 39 stations. Enjoy the scenery from the train windows along the line and see the station building, which is a registered tangible cultural property of the country. Stores attached to station buildings are also popular.

Hamamatsu City, where the main character, Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu, lived for 17 years, will pre-open the “What to do with Ieyasu Hamamatsu Taiga Drama Museum” on January 22nd. During the pre-opening period, you can enjoy exhibits of costumes used in past taiga dramas and videos.
Hamamatsu Shusse Park, where the Taiga Drama Museum is located, also exhibits the stone walls of Hamamatsu Castle (actual) and the remains of Ninomaru Palace!

Hamamatsu is the place where Tokugawa Ieyasu, the main character of the 2023 historical drama “What to Do with Ieyasu” (NHK), spent 17 years of his youth. Therefore, the area around Hamamatsu Castle is dotted with places related to Lord Ieyasu.
The “Ieyasu Promenade” is a place where you can walk and visit places related to this. There are two walking routes: the “Battle Route” and the “Castle Inner/Castle Route.”
This time, we will take you around half of the “Castle Inner/Castle Route”, which is the east side of Hamamatsu Castle. Let’s set out with the leaflet in hand!

Tokugawa Ieyasu, one of the Three Great Heroes, spent 17 of his 75 years in the prime of his youth in Hamamatsu. As a result, there are still places around Hamamatsu Castle that are connected to Lord Ieyasu.
The “Castle Inner/Castle Route” of “Ieyasu’s Promenade” is a route that connects 12 of them so that you can visit them with a single stroke. This time we will be showing you the south side of this route from Hamamatsu Castle. Don’t forget to take the leaflet before leaving!

Kunma Suisha(water wheel) no Sato, a roadside station in the northwest of Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City, is a popular spot where you can enjoy nature, gourmet food, and handmade experiences all year round.
The people in charge of customer service inside the store are mothers from the local Kuma district. Due to the warmth of its customer service and atmosphere, it won the “Tokoro JAPAN Local Roadside Station Grand Prix” in September 2022.
